Our Terms of Service
Sholo Terms of Service
Last updated: 18 October 2026
The short version
Sholo is an AI co-founder app for solo founders. It is run by Fauun (ABN 43 773 047 705).
You can try Sholo free for 30 days without a card. After that you keep a free account, and you can subscribe to keep chatting.
Sholo's replies come from AI. They can be wrong, and they are not professional advice or a promise that your business will succeed.
Your ideas and content stay yours.
You can cancel any time. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law stay in place.
By creating an account or using Sholo, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Sholo.
1. About these terms
Sholo is operated by Fauun (ABN 43 773 047 705), based on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. In these terms, "we", "us" and "Sholo" mean Fauun. "You" means the person using Sholo. You can contact us at hello@getsholo.com.
These terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information.
2. Your account
You must be 18 or older to use Sholo.
Give us accurate details when you sign up, and keep your login private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
One person, one account. Please don't share your login, and please don't create extra accounts to get more free trials.
Tell us straight away at hello@getsholo.com if you think someone else has access to your account.
3. Plans, trial and limits
Free trial. Every new account starts with a 30-day free trial, with no card needed. The trial starts when you send your first chat message, and includes up to 50 messages.
Free account. When your trial ends, you keep a free account. You can no longer send new chat messages, but you can still read your saved chats, and you can keep using Lists, Wins and your Inspo board, up to 50 images, 50 lists and 10 wins.
The Sholo plan. Subscribing costs A$27 per month, with GST included.
It includes:
300 messages a month, shared across Dream, Mentor and Nerd modes;
up to 300 images, 200 lists and 100 wins;
up to 500 saved chats.
What counts as a message. A message is each message you send to Sholo, in any mode. Sholo's replies don't count. All three modes share one monthly pool of messages. Your limit resets at the start of each month. Your first-time setup chat doesn't count.
When you reach a limit. If you use all your messages, you can wait until your limit resets or upgrade. We never charge you extra automatically when you reach a limit.
If you move to a lower plan. If you cancel, or your trial ends, and you have more images, lists or wins than the free account allows, you keep everything you already have. You just can't add anything new until you delete enough to be back under the limit.
If limits or prices change. We may change plans, limits and prices from time to time. We will give you reasonable notice, at least 30 days for any change that reduces what paying subscribers get or raises their price. Changes apply from your next billing period, so you always receive what you have paid for.
4. What you create, and what Sholo creates
Your content. You own the content you put into Sholo, including your business ideas, chats, lists, wins and images. We don't claim ownership of your ideas.
Our permission to use it. To run Sholo for you, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process and display your content. This includes sending your messages to our AI provider and saving memory notes. We use this licence only to provide, protect and improve Sholo, and we won't use your content to promote Sholo without asking you first.
Your responsibility. You are responsible for what you upload and write. Only upload images and text you have the right to use.
Sholo's replies. Replies are generated for you. As far as the law allows, you can use them for your own business. Replies may be similar to ones given to other people, and we can't promise they are original or free of anyone else's rights, so please review anything before you rely on it or publish it.
5. AI replies: what to expect
Sholo is an AI co-founder, not a person. Replies can be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
Sholo is not a lawyer, accountant, financial adviser, or medical or mental health professional. For tax, legal, financial or health decisions, please get professional advice.
We can't and don't promise that any idea, plan, price or number from Sholo will succeed or make money. You make the decisions in your business.
Sholo is not a crisis service. If you are in danger or thinking of hurting yourself, call 000 in Australia, or Lifeline on 13 11 14, or contact local emergency services.
Sholo's memory notes are saved automatically and can be wrong. See our Privacy Policy for how to have them removed.
6. How you can use Sholo
Please don't:
break the law, or use Sholo to harm, harass or deceive anyone;
upload anything unlawful, abusive or harmful, or anything that infringes someone else's rights;
try to get into other people's accounts or data, or interfere with how Sholo works, including by scraping, overloading or reverse engineering it;
try to get Sholo to reveal its private instructions, or work around its limits;
create multiple accounts to get extra free trials, or share a paid account between people;
use Sholo to make or sell content that you know is misleading or illegal.
7. Our rights in Sholo
Sholo, including its software, design, name, logos, the Wolf, icons and written content, belongs to us or our licensors. While you follow these terms, we give you a personal, non-transferable right to use Sholo. You may not copy or resell it.
8. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how Sholo's memory and AI processing work, and your rights. It forms part of these terms.
9. Suspending or ending your account
You can stop using Sholo and close your account at any time by emailing hello@getsholo.com. We will delete your information as set out in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if a payment is overdue, or if we are required to by law. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
If we close your account without a good reason related to you, we will refund any payment you made for time you didn't get.
Sections that by their nature should continue after your account ends, such as sections 5, 8, 11 and 14, continue to apply.
10. Our responsibility to you
We work to keep Sholo available and working, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted or free of errors, and some features may change over time.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, or indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Sholo or from decisions you make based on Sholo's replies. Where the law allows us to limit our liability for a breach of a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
11. Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract with us and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have problems with the service rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel your contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those rights.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Sholo changes. We will post the new version with a new date, and for significant changes we will email you or tell you in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. If you keep using Sholo after that, you accept the updated terms. If you don't agree, you can close your account.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Each of us submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
